- Which regions they can operate in.
- How they communicate with users and systems.
So who’s holding all of that together today? Developers.
Developers are now expected to:
- Decide which LLMs are “approved.”

In trying to make AI safe, we’ve accidentally attacked the developer’s identity — turning creative builders into reluctant security operators. And that’s neither fair, nor scalable.

We’ve seen this movie before.
When SaaS exploded, every app had its own login page, audit log, and privacy policy. But that didn’t stop data leaks or shadow IT.

That’s how entire categories like CASB and CNAPP were born. They turned scattered app-level features into unified security solutions.
Agentic AI is heading toward the same inflection point.
